Verify & report fraud
If a message claims to be from Verix, take a moment to verify it before sharing information or paying.
Open this website directly and type [email protected] into a new email. Do not rely only on a display name, a reply address or a link in an unexpected message. Email accounts themselves can be compromised.
What this website does
This website has no account login, file upload, online checkout or payment collection. The inquiry form prepares an email draft. It does not ask you to enter account passwords, one-time codes, bank credentials, government identifiers or payment-card details.
Warning signs to pause for
- A demand to pay urgently to prevent a supposed privacy lawsuit, remove a complaint or release a project.
- A request for gift cards, cryptocurrency, secrecy or an unexpected change to payment instructions.
- A job offer requiring payment, equipment purchases from a specified seller or a check to deposit and return.
- An unsolicited request to install remote-access software, share a password or reveal a one-time code.
- A proposal that claims an institution’s endorsement or promises guaranteed employment without verifiable details.
Proposals and payment changes
Request a written scope and verify the contracting party. Confirm invoices and any change to payment instructions using an independently established channel and a known project contact. A familiar logo or matching email display name is not proof of authenticity.
Privacy complaints deserve a real review
If someone reports a data issue, do not assume the report is a scam or dismiss it based on a policy statement. Send a fresh message to the privacy contact with a brief description, relevant URL and approximate time. Do not include passwords, sensitive personal data or confidential client records. Verix can then review the report and agree a suitable way to exchange any necessary evidence.
If you suspect an incident
Stop interacting with the suspicious sender, preserve the relevant messages and contact your bank promptly if money or payment details are involved. Report suspected Verix impersonation to [email protected]. Reports do not require payment, and this page is not a promise of a reward or authorization to test systems.
